The next session will be from 2pm – 6.30 pm
The workshops are for all levels of expertise, from beginner to expert. Complete newcomers to the craft can receive basic instruction in the various methods of making felt, with the more experienced joining in with those instruction sessions covering techniques of particular interest to them. Those who wish to do so can work on their own projects with as much help and instruction from the leader as they require.
The more advanced can work at their own speed and in whatever direction they wish. The intention is to provide an exciting environment where inspiration can be gained from general discussion and bouncing ideas off others.
Individuals can ask for additional tuition in different techniques – eg: Nuno felt (felting fibres into fabric); vessels and other seamless items (including footwear and garments) using a "resist"; gossamer/cobweb felt; dry felting with a felting needle.

Fees are £10.00 per session (to include light refreshments) plus the cost of materials used (around £5.00)
Enrollment forms can be obtained from reception at The Exchange. Workshops are now the 3rd Saturday of every month.
