Dorset Youth Orchestra

with Forgken and Foyle

Dorset Youth Orchestra is one of the most highly regarded groups of its kind in the country and is truly one of the jewels in Dorset's cultural crown. Led by Mark Forkgen, who is also director of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s contemporary ensemble Kokoro, Dorset Youth Orchestra is critically acclaimed for its technical virtuosity, collaborative working and exciting programming. For this performance the orchestra is joined by young violinist Michael Foyle for the ever popular Bruch Violin Concerto, combined with the dark smouldering passion of Sibelius' monumental Second Symphony.

Programme:
Bruch Violin Concerto
Sibelius Symphony No.2
