The Lydden Room, just off of the Lower Atrium, is The Exchange's ICT suite and is equipped with twelve PC's. Functioning on a Wednesday as The Community Learning Centre, the Lydden offers members of the public the opportunity to call in and use the computers free of charge. Volunteers are on hand to give help and advice where needed and the Learning Centre also runs regular courses and workshops. For more details, visit their website.

The Lydden Room is also available to hire, with or without the computer facility. The majority of the PC's run Windows 7, with one running Vist and one XP. All have Microsoft Office 2010, 2007 and 2003 (XP) including word- processing, spreadsheets, Powerpoint, Publisher and Access Database. The Lydden also boasts one touch-screen monitor, a fitted projector screen, printers and a scanner. All computers have access to the internet.
With all of these facilities on offer, the Lydden provides a perfect training and learning environment for anyone wishing to run computer based courses. For further information on the facilities available or to hire the Lydden, please contact the Bookings Officer on 01258 475137.
