The Stour Hall

The Stour Hall is the largest space here at The Exchange with total theatre seating capacity of 300, half of which 

are tiered. With one of the widest stages in the county, it is ideal for all types of performance, be it dance, drama or music and with a 16ft wide cinema screen, we are now able to show the latest blockbuster hits. There is level access to the stage which makes loading in and out simple.

Two dressing rooms equipped with showers and toilets are also available, plus additional changing space if required. The Hall boasts a comprehensive stage lighting facility and an excellent PA system. There is also an intercom connecting the control room, the stage and the dressing rooms.

With the seating retracted, the large semi-sprung  and heated beech-wood floor space is suitable for dance and exercise classes. Alternatively it can seat approximately 200 people cabaret style. With the in-house PA system, projector and screen available, this makes the ideal setting for a large conference, training seminar or presentation. The Stour Hall also has Wi-Fi internet access. A fully equipped kitchen immediately adjacent to the main hall means that catering can easily be arranged for your event.

With catering facilities on hand, a stage for entertainment and an adjacent bar, The Stour Hall also provides the perfect venue for personal celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries and wedding receptions. The adjacent Bow Room provides comfortable and convenient additional space where required.
