The Exchange is situated in Sturminster Newton, in the heart of North Dorset. Centrally located within the county and with a number of rooms available to hire at very competitive rates, it is the ideal venue for a wide range of functions, catering from small groups through to 300. A full catering kitchen and functioning bar are available along with multimedia facilities, sound and lighting equipment and Wi-Fi access throughout.

Whether you are hosting a conference or team-building day, running an informal meeting or interviews, needing somewhere to rehearse, wanting to celebrate a birthday or wedding, hold a trade fair, auction or indoor market or put on your own performance, The Exchange has a room for every occasion.

Here at The Exchange we aim to give customers with access requirements the opportunity to experience all the events and activities on offer. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more enjoyable, please speak with a member of staff.

• The Stour Hall has a hearing loop system installed
• A lift is available for users to access all floors
• Guide, hearing and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the building.
• There are accessible toilets for wheelchair users on all floors
• The ground floor disabled toilet has a nappy changing facility

Car Parking

The Exchange shares a free short stay car park on Old Market Hill (DT10 1FH) with the adjacent medical centre. We ask that from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, visitors to The Exchange use only unmarked white parking bays. During the evening and at weekends, visitors to The Exchange can park anywhere within the Old Market Hill car park and enter the building via our first floor entrance. Alternatively the town's main car park is situated behind The Exchange on Station Road (DT10 1BN). Charges apply between 9am and 3pm only and the maximum charge is £3.50 for 6 hours. Visitors to The Exchange can enter the building by our ground floor entrance on Station Road.
